I'm not sure where I got this version of Perl for DOS,
but it is the easiest one to install and it works.

Simply copy the two .exe files to a directory in the PATH,
typically this would be C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND or C:\DOS.

They you can run perl programs like:

C:> perl someprogram.pl
